Phish is coming to Austin — and so is the party.
Whether you’re a seasoned phan or just know “that John guy that loves this band,” you’re in for something seriously special.
What to expect:
not your average concert crowd
Let’s start here: Phish is more than a band — it’s an experience.
And one of the most magical parts? The people. You won’t find a more diverse, welcoming, weirdly wonderful crowd anywhere.
At a Phish show, everyone’s phamily.
You’ll see surgeons, baristas, sorority girls, super hippie dudes, pizza shop guys, tech developers, middle-aged dads, grandparents, liberals, conservatives, libertarians — all vibing together in one big, judgment-free dance party. For a few hours, none of that outside-world noise matters. No politics. No stress. Just music, movement, and good energy.
Think:
- Huge dance party
- Killer live jams blending rock, funk, jazz, soul (and a few crowd singalongs)
- A mind-blowing psychedelic light show
- Wild party outfits next to flannel-wearing dads
- Puffs of smoke floating up through the lights
- And some folks just standing there, sober and laser-focused, following every musical twist and turn.
It’s Weird.
It’s Wonderful.
It’s Unforgettable.
weekend schedule: let’s break it down
Friday- June 27
- 🚌 Party Bus Pickup – San Marcos to Austin 5:45PM
- 🍻 Pre-party at our Airbnb in downtown Austin — kick back, meet the crew, grab a drink
- 🎶 Ride to the Phish Show with everyone 7:00 PM
- 🕺 Afterparty at 29th Street Ballroom – Live show from HeartByrne (a badass Talking Heads tribute band)
- 🛏️ Late-night drop-offs back at the Airbnb (and then back to San Marcos if needed)
If you are not riding the party bus- We have an AIRBNB about 10 minutes away from the Moody Center where we will be hanging out until the party bus shows up. From there we are planning on getting to the venue at 7:15 PM
Saturday- June 28
- 🌮 Brunch at Juan in a Million – Breakfast tacos + margs = yes please
- 🎈 Chill time in East Austin – Hanging at the house or roaming around (details TBD)
- 🎤 Phish Night 2 – Round 2 of the groove!
- 🎸 Afterparty encore – HeartByrne takes the stage again at 29th Street Ballroom
