Types of Storm Damage
Central Texas storms hit different. Here's what we see most β and what to look for after severe weather.
Hail dents and bruises shingles, cracks granule surfaces, and exposes your roof's underlayment. Even small hail can cause damage you can't see from the ground β but your insurance company can still cover it.
High winds lift, peel, and rip shingles right off your roof β exposing the underlayment and decking to water. Even if shingles look intact, the seal strip underneath may be broken, leading to leaks during the next rain.
Branches and falling debris can puncture your roof, crack decking, and create immediate leaks. These emergencies need fast response β tarping, structural assessment, and coordination with your insurance before further damage occurs.

FAQ
We aim to respond within 24 hours of your call. After major storms, demand spikes β but we prioritize emergency situations (active leaks, structural damage) and schedule everyone else as fast as possible. If you have an active leak, let us know when you call and we'll get emergency tarping to you first.
That depends on the extent of the damage and your deductible. We inspect your roof first, document everything, and give you an honest assessment. If the damage warrants a claim, we'll guide you through the process. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too β we're not going to push a claim that doesn't make sense for you.
Absolutely β we insist on it. We'll be on-site during your adjuster's inspection to walk them through every finding, ensure nothing gets overlooked, and advocate for full coverage. Adjusters sometimes miss damage or undervalue repairs. Having us there makes sure your claim is accurate and complete.
We file supplements with additional documentation β more photos, detailed measurements, manufacturer specs β to support the claim. We've successfully overturned many initial denials and gotten underpaid claims corrected. If needed, we can also recommend a public adjuster for complex situations.
Most hail damage is invisible from the ground β it takes a close-up inspection on the roof to find dents, granule loss, and seal strip failure. That's why we offer free inspections after every major storm. Even if you don't see obvious damage, it's worth getting checked. Undetected damage gets worse over time and can void your ability to file a claim later.
In Texas, most homeowner's insurance policies require you to file within one year of the damage, but some policies have shorter windows. Don't wait β the sooner you get inspected and file, the stronger your claim. Delays give insurance companies reasons to question whether the damage was actually storm-related.
Yes. If your roof has an active leak or exposed area, we provide emergency tarping to prevent further water damage to your home's interior. This is typically covered by your insurance as part of the claim. Call us immediately if you have an active leak.
